A Danver Braganza Extravaganza is built as a static website and served by a custom Go webserver.

The templates and design are based on a sport coat that I still own, that was hanging in my line of sight while I was writing the initial CSS. The articles are written using Markdown, and then rendered via Russ Ross's Black Friday v2 renderer.

Interactive elements are written in Go, using my bindings to the MithrilJS framework. I then use GopherJS to compile this program to Javascript. It's admittedly unconventional to write browser frontend code in Go but I enjoy it!

This website uses the Google Open Font Lora for all content, and Source Sans Pro for titles. My favourite terminal font, Source Code Pro, is used for the code sections. Most photos hosted on this site were either created by me, or reproduced with attribution and license.
